MRS. GLADYS I. FRENCH
Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys I. French were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist church with the Rev. Allen Epp officiating. Burial was in the Abilene Cemetery. Mrs. French died Saturday morning at her home, 704 North Mulberry. She was born in Sioux City, Iowa, April 6, 1881. She lived in Carlton for many years and moved to Abilene 20 years ago. Her husband, T.E. French, died in September, 1948. Surviving are a son, Glen French of Abilene; four daughters, Mrs. Harold Worman of Enid, Oklahoma, Mrs. Dan Krawzcuk of Salina; Mrs. Harold Jones of Abilene and Mrs. Dean Bogart of Carlton; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
