Lynn, 85, of Battle Creek, died March 19, 2014 at Heritage Assisted Living in Battle Creek. He was the son of Harry and Lena (Johnson) Scott.
Lynn graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1946. In 1952 he was drafted into the United States Army serving as a medic until 1953.
He married Ilene (Hemming) Scott on May 21, 1949 in St. Joseph, she preceded him in death March 24, 2013.
Lynn worked as a manager for Whirlpool, retiring in 1983. Lynn enjoyed working outside doing yard work, woodworking, photography and reading.
He is survived by daughters, Laurie (David) Schwartz of Dallas, Texas, Amy (Fred) Lenz of Ceresco, and son, Brad Scott of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Christy (Barry) DeBruin, Cathy Weeks, Scott Heimsath, John Heimsath, Taylor Scott and Andrew Scott; great grandchildren; Cameron Weeks, Kira Weeks and Cooper DeBruin. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, son, Kevin Scott, and brothers, Terry Scott and Ross Scott.
