Robert Lee Core, 75, of Conway died Wednesday, November 3, 2004, in Conway, Arkansas. He was born July 10, 1929, in Branch, Arkansas to Horace Core and Hattie Herring Core. He was retired from Shell Oil Co. An Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Paris VFW, loved coaching little league baseball when living in California and was a member of Cornerstone Bible Church in Conway, Arkansas.
Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2004 at Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial at Caulksville Cemetery under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home of Paris. Officiating the service was the Rev. J. W. Glidewell.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, three sons, five sisters, three brothers, and three grandchildren.
