Norma Lee Wood, 89, of Fort Gratiot, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014.

She was born April 22, 1924 in Van Dyke, Michigan to the late Leo and Alberta Jean. She married Bernard C. "Barney" Wood on June 28, 1947 in Warren. He died February 13, 1998.

Mrs. Wood was supportive of the family business, Northgate Ford Lincoln Mercury. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was the "life of the party". She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sons, Jeff (Susan) Wood of Rochester and Tom (Grace) Wood of Fort Gratiot; five grandchildren, Thomas Wood, Joseph (Nicole) Wood, Michael Wood, Jean Wood, and Jennifer Wood; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-9 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A Scripture Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Wood will lie in state from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 in St. Mary Catholic Church, Port Huron. The Reverend Joseph Gagnon will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
