Marcella Jean Davis, 81, of Warren, IN, died Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 1:43 p.m. at her home.
Mrs. Davis attended Warren High School. She was a member of the Salamonie Church of the Brethren, where she taught nursery school and was a member of the Ladies Aid.
She was born March 28, 1932, in Huntington to Walter and Louetta Caley Campbell. She married Dale W. Davis on Aug. 4, 1950, in Lancaster. He preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 1999.
Survivors include three sons, Gary L. Davis and Allen (Debbie) Davis, both of Warren, and Terry (Tammy) Davis, of Scottsburg; a daughter, Joyce (Michael)Green, of Elwood; two brothers, Harold Campbell, of Warren, and Lavon Clevenger, of Bluffton; four sisters. Idella Gard, of Warren; Opal Stewart, of Huntington,; Patricia Wolf, of Markle; and Becky Mays, of Fort Wayne; and four grandchildren, Andrea (Brian) Ballinger, of Fort Wayne; Brian Green, of Indianapolis; Craig Davis, of Bloomington; and Alyssa Davis, of Warren.
Calling is Monday, March 24, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. A service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Mel Zumbrun
officiating. Interment will be at Lancaster Cemetery.
