Son of Henry W. Burnor Sr. & Sybil George Burnor.

Henry served as a Private First Class, Company K, 309th Infantry, 78th Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Grafton County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on April 7, 1944 at Fort Deveans, Massachusetts. He was noted as being employed as a Filling Station Attendant and also as Single, without dependents.

Henry "Died Of Wounds" received in action in Germany during the war and was awarded the Purple Heart.
