Ida married widower Jonas Bring on 23 April 1875 in Sweden. He had 3 children from his previous marriage. They immigrated to the U.S. in 1881 and settled on a farm near Oakland, NE. They remained in Burt county until around 1889 when they moved to a farm near Herman, NE. In 1892 they moved to a farm near Lyons, NE. At the time of her death, Ida lived in Rosalie, NE.
Jonas & Ida had eight children: Althea, Oscar, John, Hannah (Mrs. J. Sephus) Lindgren, Fred, Albert and two that died in childhood.

Funeral services for Mrs. J.P. Bring of Rosalie were held from the Paulson Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon of last week with Rev. A.B. Pearson of the First Lutheran church in charge. Mrs. Ted Wellerstedt sang. Interment was made in the family lot at the local cemetery.
