GREENUP -- Erma C. Strader, 100, of Greenup died at 9:30 p.m. Sunday (March 5, 2000) at the Cumberland Nursing Center, Greenup. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bishop Funeral Home, Greenup, with the Rev. Bill Roan officiating. Burial will be in the Aten Cemetery, Hidalgo. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born Aug. 29, 1899, in Hidalgo, the daughter of Jacob and Cinderella Weaver Cummings. She married Luke Strader. He died in 1975. Surviving are one daughter-in-law, Gloria Strader of Litchfield; one brother, Guy Cummings of Hidalgo; four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, one daughter, two great-grandchildren, and two sisters. Mrs. Strader was a retired wallpaper hanger and a homemaker. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Greenup. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
