1939 ~ 2014
Born Sept. 26, 1939 in Jerome, ID. passed in the Year of Our Lord,. Mar. 17, 2014 in Boise, ID. with his wife, SueAnn, by his side and surrounded by family and loved ones. Virgil, lovingly known as J.R. was oldest of 8 children, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
J.R. left school early to help support the family. He was an army veteran serving time in European theater. He is preceded by his mother and father. Remaining are all siblings, their spouses, 8 children, 17 grandchildren, and 46 great grandchildren.
Interment will be at Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
At this time, SueAnn and family would like to thank each and every one for your thoughtful prayers and kindnesses during this difficult time. If there is fishing in heaven, J.R. will be first in line. There remains a hole in each of us that will never be filled; we all will miss him dearly. He fought the brave fight and won.
There will be a memorial and Pot Luck Gathering for all family & friends at Central Assembly, 12000 Fairview, Sat. March 22nd at 1:00 P.M.
