Mable A. Davis, age 93, of Waverly, N.Y., passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014.
Mable was born in Waverly, N.Y., on May 21, 1920, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Electa Johnson Jones.
She is survived by her son, Bernard Davis of Waverly, step daughter, Joyce (Fred) Park Sr. of Waverly, grandchildren, David (Kimberly) Kinsley, Doug (Nina) Kinsley, Fred (Tina) Park Jr., all of Waverly, special great-grandson, Justyn Kinsley, great-granddaughters, Kelsey and Kelly Kinsley, special niece, Charlotte (Jerry) Richards.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Davis, daughter Ada Kinsley, brothers, Herman, Elmer, Bazel, Lionel, and Howard Jones.
Mable was a retired employee of the Tioga General Hospital in Waverly. She liked to embroider and was a good cook and nobody ever went away hungry.
Friends are invited to call at the McKee Memorial Chapel, 462 Fulton St., Waverly on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. with funeral and committal services there at 3 p.m. The Rev. Charles Wasielewski Sr. officiating. Mable will be laid to rest next to her loving husband in Glenwood Cemtery, Waverly.
