He attended Hadley Luzerne Central School District.
He held several positions while employed and served as a sergeant for the Merchant Police.
He was also a golf course landscaper for Atlantis golf course and a truck driver for Double A Provisions.
He married Marie Sweenor on August 10th 1974 at the St. Michael's Church in South Glens Falls, New York.
He was a Catholic who attended St. Mary's Church in Glens Falls, N.Y.
He enjoyed woodworking, making furniture he gave away as gifts. He was also fond of practical jokes.
Dan enlisted in U.S. Marine Corps in 1971 and was discharged in 1977.
He was a proud Marine who earned several medals, including the Good Conduct Medal. His favorite saying was "Semper Fi".
He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his mother and father-in-law and his stepfather; his unborn child, Daniel; and three unborn grandchildren, Bobby Jo, Alex and Gabbie.
He donated his remains to Anatomical Gift Program at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, N.Y.
Burial will be held at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Duell Road in Saratoga, N.Y.
