Nancy Lucille Mattingly, age 80 of Harned, KY died Tuesday, 3-18-2014 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Breckinridge County on June 4, 1933, the daughter of the late Richard and Ada Davison Moore. She attended Locust Hill United Methodist Church and Fairview United Methodist Church. She worked beside her husband on the farm, lovingly cared for her family and friends enjoyed canning and creating beautiful quilts and pillows.

Over the years she served faithfully at Locust Hill United Methodist Church and Fairview United Methodist Church. The three things that bought the most significiance to her life was her faith, her family and friends.

James Mattingly, her husband of almost 60 years and three brothers Murray, Elmer "Bootie" and Willis "Buck" Moore preceded her in death.

She is survived by 4 children: Bettye Turner of Elizabethtown,KY

Kenneth Ray Mattingly (Barbara) - Harned, KY
Michael Dwayne Mattingly (Rita) of Harned, KY
7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, 3-20-2014 at 1 PM with Rev. Pearl Gray and Rev. Bobby Stinnett officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday, 3:30 - 8 PM and Thursday after 8:30 AM.

Memorial contributions are requested to Fairview Cemetery.
