Charles Albert Herrington, 69, of Heidelberg, MS, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, on Friday March 21st, 2014 at Blackledge Cemetery in Sandersville, MS. Bro. Mike Whitt will officiate.
Charles is preceded in death by his father, Colon Hodge; grandparents, Luther and Ruby Herrington and Hardy and Clara Hodge; brothers, Toots Herrington, J.L. Herrington, Junior Herrington, Howard Herrington, Vernon Herrington, Arthur Hodge and Roy Hodge; sisters, Dorothy Jewel Herrington, Francis Hodge, Patricia "Diane" Blackledge and Kathy Hodge.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Ballard Herrington, Heidelberg, MS; mother, Annie Laura Hodge, Sandersville, MS; sons, Charles Dewayne Herrington (Madeline), Stonewall, MS, Shane Grant (Myra), Heidelberg, MS and Joshua Herrington, Heidelberg, MS; daughters, Robin H. Odom (Curtis), Quitman, MS and Gail McCarra (Joey), Quitman, MS; brothers, Foster "Boots" Herrington (Tina), Laurel, MS, Billy Herrington (Sheila), Sandersville, MS, Ray Hodge (Carolyn), Sandersville, MS and Mike Hodge (Angie), FL; sisters, Karen Davis (Jamie), Sandersville, MS and Mary "Doll" Brewer, Sandersville, MS; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday from 11:30am – 1:30pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel, MS which is in charge of arrangements.
