Frank Davis Sutton, 78, of Waynesboro passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Augusta Health. He was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey on March 11, 1935, son of the late Frank and Jennie Sutton. Frank was currently volunteering at Augusta Health and at the Augusta County Public Library. Frank had been a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in the Waynesboro area for many years. He had also been an active volunteer fireman for more than 30 years in New Jersey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Sutton, and his daughter, Patricia Sutton. Frank is survived by his son, Frank Sutton, his daughter, Susan Dunn and her husband all of Branchville, New Jersey; His step children Glenn Davis and his wife, of Churubusco, Indiana; Wayne Davis and his wife of Mesa, Arizona; His brother Bob and his wife of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Frank also is survived by eight grand children as well as two great grand children and several nieces and nephews. He was also survived by many loved ones including; Margaret, Debbie, Carl and Diane. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at McDow Funeral Home in Waynesboro. A memorial service will follow at 2:30 P.M. with Rev. Kim Webster officiating. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Hackettstown, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Waynesboro Volunteer First Aid Crew, 201 W.
