Daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Ertzberger Cook, she was retired from Renaissance Hotel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Muriel Kellogg, and by a brother, Jimmy Cook. She was survived her husband of 44 years, Darrell Broadus Ivey; daughters, Kelly Barton (Greg) and Lori Watson (Gabriel); son, Jay Ivey (Crissy); six grandchildren; sisters, Marie Froeliger (Bill), Barbara Caston (Gerald), Janie Whitlow (Carlton), Mary Croy (Ricky) and Rosa Boster; brother, Benny Cook (Susie); and an extended family of relatives and friends. Her funeral was held at Hopewell Baptist Church with The Rev. Bill Compton and The Rev. Lowell Whitmire officiating.
