Robert Anderson Lumber, 94, retired building contractor, husband of the late Fannie Banks Lumber, of 916 Moran Avenue, died yesterday at 6:15 a.m. at a local hospital following a long illness.
A native of Elizabeth City County, he had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 70 years.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. in the Gregory Funeral Home. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
