LONGMONT, Colo. — Douglas "Doug" Martin Rice, 61, of Longmont died Thursday, March 13, 2014, in Cheyenne, Wyo.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Don R. Wood Auditorium, 620 Pine St., Clayton, N.M. Burial will follow in Clayton Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
Mr. Rice was born in Clayton to Elmo and Winnie Douglas Rice. He grew up in Clayton and Dumas and graduated from Dumas High School in 1970.
Survivors include his wife, Mari Rice of Longmont; a daughter, Rachelle Atkinson, of Lubbock, Texas; a son, Tyler Rice of Friona, Texas; a stepdaughter, Debbie Lowary of Longmont; his mother, Winnie Rice of Dumas, Texas; a sister, Wynell Quackenbush of Dumas; a brother, David Rice of Arp, Texas; and four grandchildren.
