Christopher Kennedy died at his home at the age of 45 on March 10, 2014.
His parents were Debra K (Cox) Blakesley and Ted C Kennedy. He was born in Sedan, Kansas.
Celena Baker and Chris were married in Arkansas City, Kansas Feb 1, 1992.
Chris went to Dexter, KS for his schooling and was in the Army Nation Guard. He worked for Two Rivers Co-op Elevator of Geuda Springs.
We knew Chris as the sound board operator of First Church of the Nazarene in Winfield, Kansas, where he was a faithful member. He was such an inspiration to all through his illness, as he seldom missed a church service.
Survivors include his wife, Celena, and their two beloved daughters, Tawny and Tori, all of Winfield. He also leaves his parents Ted Kennedy and Debra Blakesley, his sisters and one brother. He had many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Chris was known as an animal lover and horseman. At his services the spoke of he and his girls breaking horses and mules.
The praise team at First Church of the Nazarene sang favorite songs of the family "Amazing Grace, My Chains are Gone" and "Just a Closer Walk with Three".
