She was born on Apr. 22, 1927 in Houston to the late "Hemi" Brown Morgan and Richard Lynn and raised in Tanglewood, Texas. She married the late Doyle Lee Brimberry in Beeville, Texas on July 31, 1944. They had one son.

An accomplished businesswoman, who started her career as a beautician owning and operating Shirley's Salon of Beauty in Del City, Okla., she partnered with her husband as a home builder. Together, they ran two successful businesses, B&C Carpet in Del City, Okla. and Sun-Belt Distributing in Oklahoma City.

While she enjoyed spending time sewing and tending to her rose garden, her true passion was her family, who loved her dearly.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Richard Lynn; and beloved grandmother, Hallie Marquis "Grammie" Lynn.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; her brother; sister-in-law and brother-in-law; 3 grandchildren; as well as eight great-grandchildren; and lifelong family friends.

A remembrance service was held at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas on Thursday, Feb. 27.

The family would like to thank Valir Health Hospice for going above and beyond in the care of Doyle Lee and Shirley Brimberry. Words cannot properly express our gratitude to the nurses and staff.
