Paducah Sun, Tuesday, February 21, 1989 - Services for Paul T. Sowell Sr., 62, of 1210 N. 14th St., will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rosary Chapel Catholic Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Bruce Fogle and the Rev. Harold Diller will officiate and entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Sowell died Friday morning at Western Baptist Hospital.
A native of Hickman, Mr. Sowell was a graduate of West Kentucky State Vocational-Technical School. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and an employee of Jacob's Bottling Co. for 40 years.
His father, Pate Sowell, and a sister, Annie Mae Sowell, preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife, Ina McCauley Sowell; a daughter, Clara Sowell Dunbar of Paducah; two sons, Paul Sowell Jr. of Louisville, and Jermaine Sowell of Paducah; his mother, Ruby Sowell Paxton of Paducah; his grandmother; four aunts; an uncle; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
