"Mrs. Genevieve M. Lamping, 79, Oldenburg, died Tuesday morning at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.

"She was born June 27, 1901, at Oldenburg, the daughter of John and Magdaline Riedeman Ferkinhoff. She was married to Edwin Lamping Aug. 11, 1926, at the Holy Family Catholic Church at Oldenburg, and he preceded her in death April 17, 1938. She was a retired employee of Hillenbrand Industries.

"She is survived by one son, William Lamping, Oldenburg; two daughters: Sister Natalie Lamping, O.S.F., Cincinnati, and Mrs. Edgena Fieler, Hays, Kan.; two brothers: Ralph and Joseph Ferkinhoff, Oldenburg; two sisters: Mrs. Evialia Kirschner, Oldenburg and Mrs. Felicia Firsich, Batesville; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

"She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Ferkinhoff; a half-sister, Theresa Weintraut; and two half-brothers: William and Edward Ferkinhoff.

"The services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Holy Family Catholic Church at Oldenburg with Father James Fitzpatrick officiating, and with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Thursday at the Weigel Funeral Home at Batesville with a wake service at 7:30 p.m.
