Born on March 1, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the son of Lee and Henrietta (Mueller) Lindsey.
Mr. Lindsey was a electrician and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Surviving are his children, Michelle Lindsey of St. Louis, Patrick (Cheri) Lindsey of Byrnes Mills, Missouri, Katherine Lindsey of Vandalia, Missouri and Timothy Lindsey of St. Louis; one sister, Barbara Alder of Pacific, Missouri; grandchildren, Ian Dietemann, Brett Dietemann of St. Louis, Shane Lindsey, Ryan Lindsey and Jacob Lindsey of Byrnes Mill, Missouri, Angelian Lindsey of St. Louis and Peyton Tayon of St. Louis; his aunts, Margaret Hykins and Rose Mueller of St. Louis; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Friends may call on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Southern Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Rich officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors
