ROY GILBERT ''GIL'' RAMIREZ, 65, Hillmont Circle, Orlando, died Saturday, June 14, of cancer. Mr. Ramirez was a retired director of marketing for Johnson Controls. Born in Lancaster, Calif., he moved to Central Florida in 1975. He was a member of the Republican National Committee and Republican Party of Florida. He was also a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and a member of Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors: daughters, Denise Rosenblum, Yvette Ramirez-Winters, both of Orlando, Sharren Fields, Jacksonville; son, Robin, Hawthorne; brothers, Eli, Lancaster, Hank, Fortuna, Calif.; sisters, Carmen Kim, La Canada Flintridge, Calif., Rosalie Kruger, Palmdale, Calif., Sarah Kinnan, Tampa, Irene Mason, Tehachapi, Calif., Mary Martel, Sacramento, Calif., Angie Valdez, Bullhead City, Ariz.; three grandchildren.
