BAIRD, George Another Fitzroy Resident Dead Another old resident of Fitzroy township in the person of Mr. George Baird, passed away on Monday morning at his home in the vicinity of Diamond. The ceased (sic) was in his 81st year and lived in that community all his life. He is survived by his widow, who before marriage was Elizabeth Gourlay, also one daughter and five sons as follows: Mrs. F. C. Baird, Kinburn; John Albert, Torbolton; William Edmund, Arthur, Garnet and Campbell, of Fitzroy. Four brothers Dr. J. G. of Riverside, Cal.; Samuel of Torbolton; Robert and William of Fitzroy also survive. Another brother, John, died in Fitzroy about two months ago. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon to St. Paul's Church, Diamond, services being conducted by the rector, Rev. Mr. Clarke.
