Austin T. Carter, 63, of Lund, White Pine county, Nev., died on a Salt Lake & Utah railroad train while en route from Salt Lake City to Bennion Ward station Friday afternoon, deputy sheriffs reported.
The body was taken from the train at Riverton. Justice of the Peace C. E. Matthews reported death was due to natural causes, probably a heart attack.
Mr. Carter was en route to visit his sister Mrs. C. A. Langdon of Bennion ward.

MIDVALE-Funeral services for Austin Turnbow Carter, 63, of Ely, Nev., will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Goff mortuary in Midvale by Henry Bringhurst, bishop of the Bennion L D S ward. Burial will be in the Murray City cemetery.
Mr. Carter died Friday afternoon while en route to visit relatives at Bennion. He was born in St. George September 20, 1879, a son of William and Sophrina E. Turnbow Carter. He was a retired miner.
Surviving are a brother, James Carter of Lund, Nev., and five sisters, Mrs. Sylvina Turnbow of Woodland, Mrs. C. A. Langdon of Bennion, Mrs. Annie C. Johnson of St. George, Mrs. Elizabeth Dahl and Mrs. Hattie Thomas of Canada.
Friends may call at the Goff mortuary Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday prior to services.
