Mrs. Smith was the daughter of Daisy Lee Copeland & Harvey Lee Johnson. She married Gordon in 1945. She was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother that loved to work in her yard. She loved to quilt & go square dancing w/the Hope Melonaires. She was a member of White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors are kids: William w/wife Nina, Joyce Smith w/husband Henry & Deborah Thomas; grkids: Theresa Sisson, Allen & Joey Smith, 9 grgrkids & 1 grgrgrchild.

Mrs. Smith was preceded by her parents, son Gerald Wayne, siblings: Mary May, Florence Jackson & Harold Johnson.

Bro. John Nations will conduct the graveside service at 10:00am, Friday, March 21, 2014
