DIXIE, LA - Services for Grace Edwards Bailey, 88, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 28, 2006 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Randy Riley of Trinity Heights Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery, Ringgold, LA.

Grace, a native of Vernon, AL, was born September 16, 1917 and passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2006 in Bossier City, LA. She was a member of Trinity Heights Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Her parents; brother, Arlin L. Edwards, and twin sister, Ona Mace Bailey, preceded Grace in death. Survivors are her husband of 72 years, John Frank Bailey of Bossier City, LA (former residents of Belcher, LA and Dixie, LA) for 61 years; sons, Jimmy F. Bailey and wife, Linda and G. Elton Bailey all of Shreveport, LA and Bill Bailey and wife, Connie of Bossier City, LA; daughter, Shirley Bailey French and husband, E.J. of Shreveport, LA; brother, James L. Edwards of Corsicana, TX; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Honoring Grace, as pallbearers will be grandsons, Joey French, John French, Brian Bailey, Rex Hawsey, Paul Hayden and Chanin Barker. Honorary pallbearers will be Powell Layton, Jim Woolen, Lane Harmon and nephews, Harold Carlisle, Bill Alexander, Earl Weems and Burton Crow.
