Minnie Lou Green, died at the age of 83, in Memphis, TN, on Saturday, March 15, 2014. She was a Christian wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Mrs. Green supported her family while her Marine husband was on an overseas military tour - 3 children ages 4 years, 1 year and 10 days old. She was involved with her children in both Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts. She was an active member of Great Oaks Church of Christ. Mrs. Green is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ronald I. Green; son, Ronald I. Green, Jr. (Janice); daughters, Theresa Nabors (Jerry), Patti Sims (Michael); four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, March 18 and service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 19 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home, with interment following.
