Teresa L. Gaffney was born Aug. 30, 1970, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of Dean and Linda Gaffney.
Teresa graduated from Hempfield High School in 1988.
She married Randy Weaver, and they became the parents of four sons.
Teresa was self-employed and a CNA at Westmoreland Manor prior to her illness.
She was a member of Middle Presbyterian Church, where she had once served as a deacon, nicknamed "freakin deacon" because of her passion of service to the Lord.
At the age of 43, Teresa L. (Gaffney) Weaver, of Acme, died Saturday, March 15, 2014.
In addition to her parents of New Stanton, she was survived by her loving husband, Randy L. Weaver; and loving children, Joshua Gaffney and Timothy Rowan, both of New Stanton, Andrew and Johnathan (J.T.) Rowan, both of Acme; a sister, Deanna (Glenn) Firestone, of Mt. Pleasant; her maternal grandmother, Geraldine Anthony, of Mt. Pleasant; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Teresa was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Daniel Anthony; and paternal grandparents, Leroy and Ada Gaffney.
