Mrs. Sarah Ann Franklin Atchley of Mayberry Courts, Fayetteville, died Wednesday morning in the Lincoln County Hospital following a long illness. She was 84 years old and the widow of the late George Wiley Atchley.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Higgins Funeral Home with burial in the Blanche Cemetery.
A native of Jackson County, Alabama, Mrs. Atchley was the daughter of the late John William and Louisa Riddle Franklin. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sons, George Louis, Howard Thurman, and Hughey Monroe Atchley, all of Lincoln County; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
