Ted Louis Miller 6/23/22 ~ 2/13/03 Ted Louis Miller, age 80, died February 13, 2003 following surgery in December 2002. Born June 23, 1922 in Springville, Utah to Chris and Sarah Deal Cherrington Miller. Ted spent his formative years growing up in Springville, Utah. He graduated from Springville High School.Ted was a member of the LDS Church serving a mission to the New England States Mission. Following his mission, he served his country in the European Theatre for the US Army during World War II. He attended Brigham Young University, later obtaining his embalmer/funeral director license. Ted worked for Larkin Mortuary in Los Angeles, California. He then joined the Coca-Cola Fountain Division, Atlanta, Georgia and traveled extensively with the company, in Denver, Seattle, Portland, and Salt Lake City. In 1980, Ted retired from Coca-Cola and returned to Salt Lake City to live. Ted was a generous contributor to the University of Utah and also to the Crimson Club at the University. He is survived by a sister, Beth Miller, Springville, UT; nephews, Ron (Sharrin) Miller, Murray, UT; Chris (Teresa) Miller, Springville; nieces, Marsha (Bert) Oakey, Springville; Janet (Jim) McCardell, Salt Lake; and Gaynell (Lary) Hoskins, Colorado Springs, CO. Preceded in death by a sister, Melva Miller Houston, and a brother, James F. Miller. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 17, 2003 at 12 Noon at the Monument Park 1st Ward, 1005 South 2000 East, with a visitation from 10:30-11:45 am. prior to the services. Funeral Directors, Larkin Mortuary. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
