Louis Arambula passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014, at the age of 80 due to complications of diabetes and congestive heart failure.

He is survived by his wife, his children, his beloved grandchildren, and his blessed great-grandchildren. He leaves behind his siblings and many nieces and nephews.

Louis was an Oklahoma Golden Gloves State Champion, Featherweight Division boxer in his youth, and a veteran of the Korean War. He was an Air Traffic Controller for 37 years, receiving commendations for his bravery during crisis, a skill which served him well as the Union Representative fighting for better wages and safer air travel. He was an avid Wheel of Fortune watcher, crossword puzzle solver, and lover of jazz music.

Services are under the direction of Moore Funeral and Cremation, however there will be no funeral service; a memorial will be announced for family and friends at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please send contributions in his honor to one of the following: 1) Capitol Hill Boxing Club, or 2) The Friends of the UCO Jazz Lab.
