NORFOLK--Mrs. Millie Jane Craven, 91, widow of Andrew Jackson Craven, died early yesterday at the residence, 3302 Kansas Ave., Fairmount Park, after a short illness.
She was a native of Atlanta, Ga., and had resided in Norfolk for the past two years. She was a daughter of Van and Mrs. Martha Allford Worley.
Mrs. Craven was a member of the Spruce Pine Methodist Church, Ala.
Surviving are six sons, Frank L. Craven, Largo, Fla., James G. Craven, Clearwater, Fla., Albert S. Craven, Birmingham, Ala., A.C. Craven, Memphis, Tenn.; Alex Craven and Henry Craven, both of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Clark, Birmingham and Mrs. Alice Johnson, Whitesburg, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Sykes Funeral Home, Berkley, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park.
