Ernest "Ernie" Warner (1931-2014) died March 15, 2014 in River Bend Hospital in Springfield, OR. He is survived by his wife Leora; two sisters, Josephine Bray, Eugene, and Helen Johnson, Missoula, MT; five brothers, Ellis, Paradise, CA; Leonard, Eugene; Lester, Coburg, OR; George, Eugene; and Wayne, Springfield, MO; and numerous nephews and nieces and many friends. His oldest brother, Lawrence, died in 1999. Ernie was a 1949 graduate of Mohawk High School and a 1961 graduate of what is now New Hope Christian College, Eugene. He served as a tank crew member in the army, 1951-53. For more than 50 years he was a truck driver for Rexius Fuel in Eugene.Earnest (Ernie) Neil Warner , 82, passed away on March 15, 2014 after a short illness. Ernie was born May 21, 1931 in Wendling, Oregon to Harry and Ethel Warner . He is a 1949 graduate of Mohawk High School. Following his service in the army he attended what is now New Hope Christian College, graduating in 1961. For more than 50 years he drove a truck for Rexius.

Ernie is survived by his wife of 54 years, Leora, as well as siblings Josephine Bray, Helen Johnson, Lester, Ellis, Leonard, George, and Wayne, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Lawrence.

A memorial service will be held at New Hope Church, 1790 Charnelton, Eugene, Oregon, March 30th at 4:00 pm with Pastor Wayne Cordeiro officiating.
