JONNIE D. BALDWIN, 53, DIES; FUNERAL TODAY -- Jonnie D. Baldwin, 53, Nashville businessman, died yesterday at his home 1704 Allison place, after a brief illness. Funeral services will be conducted today at 2:30 p.m. at Radnor Baptist church. The Rev. R. W. Lashbrook will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Zeb Walker. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial park. Mr. Baldwin was a native of Harriman, Tenn., the son of the Rev. E. J. and Martha Richards Baldwin. He had lived in Nashville during the past 20 years, as manager of Baldwin and Coya service station-restaurant on Nolensvill road. He was a member of the Masonic order and was a Shriner. For many years Mr. Baldwin was a teacher of the Men's Bible class at Radnor Baptist church, where he was a member. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. O. P. Brakefield, Nashville, and Mrs. A. C. Jones, Tampa, Fla., and three brothers, C. C. Baldwin and Joyce Baldwin of Chattanooga, and J. W. Baldwin of Denver, Colo. (Nashville Tennessean, 18 Dec 1950, p.24)
