William M. Bonnett was born in Catherine, Schuyler, New York to Henry and Mary Bonnett. We came to Alaska prior to 1920 and was an own/operator of a gold mine in Kenai. By 1930 he had relocated to Anchorage, where he worked as a machinist for the Alaska Railroad.
