Paul Rolland Goode, 97, died at Cooper County (Missouri) Memorial Hospital on March 12, 2014. He was born on February 28, 1917 in Moline, Illinois to Paul and Martha (Higgerson) Goode. He married Mary Dedrick on June 21, 1937 in Boonville and the couple had three children. He was employed by the City of Boonville Water Department for over 38 years and also for many years he reported the weather and rainfall to the local news and radio stations for the National Weather Service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his son, Paul Goode, III, and two sisters, Helen Fowler and Virginia Wilson. He is survived by two daughters, seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Funeral Mass: 10:00 am on March 17, 2014 at SaintS Peter and Paul Catholic Church with burial following at the Church Cemetery.
