Valerie F. Howard age 91 of Plainfield passed away on March 15, 2014 in Plainfield Healthcare. She was born on January 23, 1923 in Indianapolis to William and Amanda Cross Polson. She was the widow of Ralph Burke and Tim Howard. Valerie was a waitress at waffle house in Plainfield and also had an antique shop in Kentucky for several years. Funeral services will be on Tuesday March 18, 2014 at 1 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home Plainfield. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. until service in the funeral home. Survivors include her children: Timmy Howard, Marilyn Mann and Sandra Anderson. Sister: Linda Lair. 12 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. Valerie was preceded in death by Children: Virginia Howard, Ronnie Howard, Carolyn Howard, Charlotte Howard, Kermit Burke, Brother: Jack Polson and Sister: Lucille Ford.
