OBIT: Larry C. Fletcher, 63, of Fowler, passed away May 29, 2013 at St,. Vincent Hospital in Williamsport, Indiana. He was born in Scottsburg, Indiana on February 27, 1950. Larry was an avid athlete who played baseball and basketball at Fowler High School where he graduated in 1968. He also attended Milligan College in Tn. He spent most of his life in the Fowler area where he loved running his "eighth of a mile race track" hauling grain and working for several farmers in the area. He also enjoyed NASCAR, Purdue Basketball, and the Cubs. He was preceded in death by his father Levaughn Fletcher, and an infant son. Larry is survived by his mother, Anna Fern Fletcher; a daughter Leslie Phillpott of Largo, Fl.; a sister Arleta (Bruce) Breeden of Carmel, In.; four grandsons, Nathan, Brian, Elijah, and Trevan; a great-granddaughter, Serenity; three nieces, several extended family members and a few close friends who were like family. Graveside service will be held on Saturday June 8 at 12:30 pm at Locust Grove Cemetery in Tab, Indiana.
