Daniel J. "Dan" Giles DC, 35, St. Joseph, Missouri died Thursday, March 13, 2014 at his residence.

He was born September 11, 1978 in Kansas City, Missouri to James and Mary Kay (Breslin) Giles.

Dr. Giles graduated from Southwest Missouri State with a Bachelors in Science and received his Doctorate from Logan University. He owned and operated Giles Chiropractic, a profession he was very proud of.

Dan saw the good in everyone he met and always looked for the positive in everything. He enjoyed spending time with his children more than anything and he loved being a dad.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Giles.

Survivors: children, Jackson, Isabelle, and Grace Giles; mother, Mary Kay Giles; sisters, Susan Kidd (Troy), and Anne Giles; brother, Brian Giles; and two nieces, Allison and Haylee Kidd.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 A.M. Monday, Our Lady of Guadalupe. Inurnment Mount Olivet Cemetery, at a later date. Parish Rosary 6:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
