Norma Jean Cochran, age 87, passed away on February 17, 2014 at her home surrounded by her sons, Dean and his wife Barb, Dale Cochran, granddaughters Hailey Paull, who was her caregiver, Dana and Deanna Cochran and two of her great-grandchildren.
Norma was born on August 30, 1926 in Sauk Center, Minnesota. In 1941 the family moved to Carlton, Oregon where Norma graduated high school. She married Harold Cochran June 22, 1946 in McMinnville, Oregon. Norma started working at Linfield College in 1960 until 2002.
She was a member of the Ladies Elks in McMinnville and enjoyed going to bingo every week. She loved spending time with her family, including 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Norma is survived by two sons, Dean and Dale of McMinnville. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold in 1997 and sons David and Danny Cochran.
