He married Julia Rodgers on November 30, 1984.
Ray loved fishing and spending time with his grandkids. Ray enjoyed collecting eagle figurines and baseball caps.
He is survived by wife, Julia; father, Bert; brother, Quinn; sister, Kathleen; children, Jerry (Deniene), Brian, Cheryl, Julie (Neil), and Jolene (Jason); seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by mother, Marie, and brothers, Rodney and Brent.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 12:00 p.m., with viewings one hour prior to the services and Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East Bengal Boulevard (7800 South).
