Doyle F. Honeycutt, 81,of Taylorville, IL died at 7:45 am Sunday, March 23, 20087 at Taylorville Care Center.

He was born March 20, 1927 in Wallins Creek, Kentucky, the son of Isaac and Emma Wilson Honeycutt. On August 26, 1965 he married Eileen Blakeman in Detroit, MI and she preceded in death on June 23, 2001. Mr. Honeycutt was a steel worker in Detroit and was affiliated wtih Joy Assmbly Church in Stonington. He was a veteran of the Naval Air Force.

Surviving are his step daughters: Barbara Whyte and Dolores Boslooper both of Harperswood, MI. Brothers: Ballard Honeycutt and Clayton Honeycutt both of Harland, KY and Ben Honeycutt of Michigan. Sisters: Edith Klem and Dorothy Haywood bothr of Harland, KY and Lillian Tramel of Michigan. 4 Step Grandchildren and several step Great Grandchildren. Brothers-in-law: LeRoy Blakeman and Donald Blakeman of Stonington and Sisters-in-law: Marilyn Wattelet of Stonington and Joyce McKinney of Deatur. Also Surviving are several nieces and nephews including Terry and Lori Oyler of Taylorville. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

There will be no services or visitation. Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery.
