Anna Delores (Jackson) Wade, 83, of Union City, died March 12, 2014, at her home.

A funeral Mass is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Father Robert Ponticello officiating. Private burial will be held in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 am until the hour service at the church on Saturday morning.

White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Parish Council of Catholic Women, in care of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1303 East Reelfoot Ave., Union City, TN 38261.

She was born May 1, 1930, in South Pittsburg, daughter of the late Lawrence Cecil Jackson, M.D., and the late Margaret (Ison) Jackson. She married Marcus Earl Wade Jr. Aug. 28, 1950. He passed away Nov. 26, 2010. She was a former teacher with the Union City School System and was a homemaker.

A member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, she served as church organist for many years. She was an accomplished artist and was active in her community.
She is survived by three sons and her daughter-in-law, Marcus Earl Wade III and Denise Wade of Kingsland, Ga., Joseph Jackson Wade of Jackson and Charles Daniel Wade of McEwen; three grandsons, Marcus Wade IV of Jacksonville, Fla., Jesse Wade of Murfreesboro and Justin Wade of Denver; three great-grandchildren, Marcus Wade V of Troy, Noah Wade of Denver and Kaleigh Wade of Murfreesboro; her sister, Cecelia Peet of Boone, N.C.; and her brother, Thomas M. Jackson, M.D. of White Bluff.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Todd Wade; and her brother, Lawrence Richard Jackson, M.D.
