NATHAN ANDREW JACKSON, 32, of Waverly, formerly of Minford, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Pike Community Hospital.

Born June 8, 1981, in Portsmouth, a son of Salem Jackson Sr. and Cynthia Cadle Jackson, he was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and attended Chapel Hill Church in Waverly.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Salem (Bobbi Jo) Jackson Jr. of Portsmouth and Sabe (Laura) Jackson of Wheelersburg; nieces and nephews, Dalton Jackson, Preston Jackson, Michael Skaggs, Collin Hanzel; niece, Marley Hanzel, and Elise Jackson; aunt and uncle, Bob and Linda Hamilton and Greg and Sherry Demyan; and five cousins, Natalie Hamilton, Lindsey Hamilton, Catherine Hamilton, Andrew Demyan and Lucas Demyan.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Tim Bennett officiating. Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Military graveside rites will be conducted by James Irwin Post No. 622 American Legion and William A. Baker Post No. 363.
