Beth Wilkinson Garlick, age 88, passed away March 13, 2014.
She was born on February 3, 1926 to J.C. Wilkinson and Florence Gadd Wilkinson at home in Orem, Utah.
Beth married Reid Howard Garlick on January 23, 1945 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple for time and all Eternity. They were married 69 years and Reid always said that Beth was the love of his life!
Beth was a wonderful mother of 6 children: Dale E. (Betty) Garlick, Mona, Utah; Jay W. (Mija) Garlick, Alpine, Utah; Joe H. (Darlene) Garlick, Pleasant Grove, Utah; Sherry (Dave) Farnsworth, Lindon, Utah; Kathryn (Rod) Clements, Lehi, Utah; and Donald (Karen) Garlick, Fairview, Utah.
Beth had 51 grandchildren, 122 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and more on the way!
Beth was quiet, kind, sweet and gentle. She was a faithful Latter-day Saint and held many positions in the church. She worked as a temple worker in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple, Relief Society and her favorite was teaching the Sunbeams in Primary for many, many years.
Beth died at the Abbington Manor in Lehi, Utah surrounded by her loving, devoted husband, Reid, all her children, many grandchildren and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the American Fork 6th Ward Chapel, 300 North 100 East, American Fork, Utah.
Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Orem, 500 North State Street, Friday evening, March 21, from 6-8:00 p.m. and at the church Saturday from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services.
Interment, Timpanogos Memorial Gardens, 1000 North 400 East, Orem, Utah.
