Louis went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 46 years, 7 months and 15 days. Louis was an air Force brat, and consequently he and his family moved many times while he was growing up.
Louis began school at Moody Air Force Base near Valdosta, Georgia. When he was in the second grade at Weatherford, Oklahoma it was noticed that he was a very good swimmer and athlete. During the next few years he excelled at numerous track and field events. He was a particularly good runner and was really good at the standing broad jump. On one occasion, while living with his father in Florida, he was a member of a swim team.
In 1981 he spent the summer with his aunt, Doris Lee, and her family at their farm near Albert, Oklahoma. During this time he was baptized at the Albert-Oney Christian church. He spent the next three years at Gage, Oklahoma with his mother. After leaving home his life was, unfortunately a series of ups and down until his untimely death.
