Ms. Mallory Smith, 22, of Kennesaw, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2pm at Northstar Church in Kennesaw with Pastors Mike Linch and Marlon Longacre officiating. Mallory will lie in state from 1pm to 2pm at the Church on Tuesday.

Mallory was a 2007 graduate of Kennesaw Mountain High School. While at Kennesaw Mountain she was very involved with Cheerleading, having been a Varsity Cheerleader all four years. She also was a seven year competition Cheerleader and was crowned Homecoming Queen in the fall of 2006. Mallory was featured in many media outlets with her involvement as an advocate for Donate Life. She was chosen to serve as the Face of the Festival of Trees in 2007, and was a member of Northstar Church in Kennesaw. With her many passions there was one that captured her love, Alabama Football!

Mallory is survived by her Parents, Mike and Lisa Smith of Kennesaw; Brother, Michael and his Wife Angela Smith of Acworth; Boyfriend, Joseph Sura of Kennesaw; Grandparents, Kitty and Robert Freeman of Eufaula,AL; Aunts and Uncles, Kim and Steve Baker of Jackson, AL, and Bridget and Derek Weeks of Eufaula, AL.; Cousins, Destin, Morgan, Cynthia, Brooks and Brantley. A host of other relatives and members of Team Mal also survive.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 17, at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw from 6pm -9pm.
