ANNA ANGERER DIES AT 84 YEARS

Mrs. Anna Husted Angerer, a well-known resident of Madison county and Winterset most of her life, died Saturday, March 7, at Horton Nursing home, following an extended illness. She was 84 years of age.

Mrs. Angerer was a native of the Murray community, where she was born Sept. 16, 1885. She was the former Anna Kirsch, daughter of John and Ella Neidt Kirsch. She was married in August, 1905, to Harlan C. Husted. They spent most of their married life on a farm south of Winterset. Mr. Husted's death occurred in 1939.

Mrs. Angerer was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church at Winterset.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. T. W. Ingham of Chase, Kan., Mrs. B. L. Lyons of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. H. W. Callison of Winterset, and Mrs. George Kondes of Des Moines. She also leaves 15 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Clara Smith of Lyons, Kan.; and two brothers, Jake Kirsch of Winterset and Walter Kirsch of Portland, Ore. She was preceded in death by a son, John.

Rosary services for Mrs. Angerer were held Sunday afternoon from Collins Funeral home in Winterset. Funeral services, with requiem Mass, were held Monday from St. Joseph's Catholic church, in charge of the pastor, Msgr. John W. Higgins. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
