Robert Dean Vaught (Bob),71, of Trafalgar, IN passed away on March 14, 2014.

Bob was born in Hendricks County, IN to Dean & Goldie Vaught on July 15, 1942. He attended Lizton High School, where he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball, and graduated in 1960. He attended Butler University. Bob began his career at Associates Life Insurance and then went on to work at American States Insurance, where he worked for 30 years before retiring as Second Vice President, Agency Interface, in 1998. He enjoyed golfing, fishing on Lamb Lake, IU & Butler basketball, and was an avid reader. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and took many trips in the states and abroad.

Bob is preceded in death by his father and mother, Dean & Goldie Vaught, as well as three sisters, Shirley Ann, Sharon Kay, and Sandra Sue, and his step-son Doug Maddock.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Vaught of Trafalgar, IN, his children, Jeffery Vaught(Kelli), Mark Vaught(Heather), Vicki Myers(Steve), and David Maddock,his brother, William Vaught(Chris), his niece Julie Williams(Bob), brother-n-law Steve Ehrlich and 9 grandchildren.

Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by his family and friends.
